With a curse Anton finally managed to wrestle the component out of its socket, leaving behind the skin off the back of his knuckles in recompense. This particular shuttle had failed its maintenance checks and Anton had been given the luxurious job of finding what was wrong, and fixing it. As a result he had been in the mechanic's area of the docking bay for over three hours working on this vessel, and only recently had he dug his way into the engine compartment and removed the broken power modulator.
Anton took the busted piece of machinery and dumped it outside, and sat down, resting against the hull of the shuttle craft, taking a short breather before he got back to work. With his hand stinging like it was on fire, the BMO ruefully regretted the lack of nanites and activated one of the synthetic glands that produced an anesthetic and let it get to work. Even if he had to heal the old fashion way, at least he could do it in comfort.

Alice wandered into the Docking Bay, her hair back in a ponytail. She was so tempted to lob it off again and go back to her boyish hair - but for some reason that felt like cutting off a part of her that still held Earth. The only reason it had grown past her shoulders, was because of her lack of memories between her crash and now. She had reported to the infirmary several times - cat-scanned and all - but they said she was more then perfect...whatever that meant.
McGee spotted a Cru iser away from the others - a mechanic working away on fixing the piece of machinery. Why was she in the Docking Bay, in the first place? Probably it was due to some primal instinct that she wanted to fly once again...but she swore never to touch those gears again...not after (by all standards) dying. She wasn't sure what was flowing through her blood, she wasn't sure what resurrected her from being dead...but that didn't matter now. That entire establishment and everyone in it was dead. Papers burned, computers destroyed, it was all gone. In full uniform, Alice approached the mechanic as he pulled away from the Cruiser and sat down - apparently injured. It was standard procedure to simply patrol around the ship, making sure everything was secure - and that including the Docking Bay...and if the man was injured, it was her duty to help him out. "Bleeding to death?" she asked, closing the remaining gap between her and the mechanic. She had seen him around the ship, and for some reason wanted to call him "Anton", but wasn't 100% sure that was right...
