Code of Conduct
Also known as the rules

Well duhh...
In general - use your brain people! Don't be mean to members OOC, no racial/stereotypical slurs, respect the staff [or die], don't double post, don't advertise anywhere but the ad board, and please don't be scared of the staff - if you have a question PM us!

Language and Grammar
Think of the word filter as what is known in America as "TV14". This means no f, s, or n [that word should never be used] bomb - but the rest is pretty much fair game. For the words that'll get you in trouble at school but are legal on TV - please try not to overuse them. I'm allowing them since there are times they are appropriate, but be conservative. Also, this is a Role Play where writing is key - do not spoil it with "chatspeak" in any posts. The only place it is okay is the cbox...and that's it.

S-E-X
Oh-lala! Anyway, please don't get graphic in Rps with sex. That's it's own adult thing that I'd rather not have on the site - but it's in real life...so I'm allowing 'jump into bed', 'start to unbutton/take off clothing', and cut to the next morning or whenever you're 'finished'. I'm doing this because I'd rather not turn this site into a SMUT hole [also known as readable porn], and plus it'd make most members uncomfortable and break some of the TOS that I agreed to with making this site [basically it says don't turn your site into an adult only porn site...just worded more formally]. So you can kiss, makeout/snogg, cuddle, hug, and do all you want - just keep things in your pants and know one wants to know what they look like or what you and your 'partner' did with them. [[The second word of the Proof Phrase is Wonder]] If you plan to get your character pregnant, please talk to the staff about it before pursuing - this is simply because we want to know; not that we're going to stop it [but it's always good to double check]. Also, I allow all types of sexual orientation on this site, so your character can be gay, bi, or straight.

Characters
You may make more then one character - but only one character per account. This means you must re-register for a new account every time you make a new character. This is simply so you can keep them separate. Please avoid Marry-Sue characters [don't just avoid, just don't make them - since they won't be approved] and please avoid using anime characters for avatars [but actual celeb PEOPLE are allowed.] If you get tired of a character, you may kill them off - just don't abuse this by cycling through characters. A character bio is a commitment and honestly the staff isn't a big fan of deleting characters to begin with [yet we all will at least once, probably] so please keep it to a minimum. Also, please avoid making a carbon copy of a character from a TV show or another entertainment medium - feel free to take the celeb and general character; but please alter their name and a lot of traits and little things so they aren't exactly the same. Maybe even make them a non-human and take a look at our Species list.

Rping
Follow the sex rule above of course, and please don't "one line". Your post should be at least around a paragraph long. Yes, it's understood that sometimes a thread grows a little dull and it's hard to reply - we've all been there - but simply get into their head a little further and describe something to lengthen the post. Also, do not God-Mod, and control other registered characters that you do not own. You may have another character of yours wander in to a post with another character of yours [don't double post, simply combine the posts] and control those two in unison, but you may not do that to anything you don't own. Also, do not kill off another's character unless they ask you to and the staff has been alerted. Plus - don't Rp with yourself. You may have some characters of yours interact, but be sure there is a second party there as well. One last thing: every Rp post should be able to be built on by other members. You may 'close' a thread, limiting it to a select few/single person other then yourself, but you cannot simply post something that states what you did and cannot be replied to by any members - this is a waste of a post and will get you in trouble.

OOC/BIC
Keep the two separate! If you must say something "OOC" - Out Of Character - during a post, simply use ((content))'s or [OOC: content: BIC]'s. Also, please keep these to a minimum. There should be more Rp IC (in character) rather then OOC. (By the way, BIC means Back In Character).

Box of Speaking-ness
...more formally known as the cbox. Please feel free to either use your real name or your character's name in the "name" field...just don't use anyone else's name on-site; well will know :D .
Don't spam [meaning have more then 2 lines saying the same thing, talking to yourself, saying meaningless crap that's a waste of space, linking your name and saying "click my name", or posting ANY URL in the message area. If you want someone to see a picture, a thread, or anything - you can link your name...and if that's too long you can post it in the OOC board or simply PM it ;D
